  If I could rate negative stars, I would. We opened an account and got a debit card. Two days later, at the ATM I tried to deposit cash into the account with the card. And couldn't!!!! After going inside, a teller told me that I couldn't use that card to make deposits- only withdrawals! That is ridiculous. Their fees are numerous and excessive. And their customer service is anything but service.

  I have come to like banking at US Bank and normally I have no problems with them but there is one teller at this branch that is absolutely awful, if not downright dangerous. Unfortunately she is also the banker that helps set up accounts. Padma has routinely given me bad information that thankfully I double checked before acting on. She has no business advising anyone on financial matters. The manager is also rather obstinate. They refused to make the funds for a 5000 check available immediately despite enough to cover it completely. I went into the parking lot, called the 1800 number and did a deposit by phone. All funds immediately available no prob. On the upside they do give out candy in the lobby. That's really the only perk.
