  I opened a checking account a few weeks a go and did not have a problem at all. It was actually a pleasant experience. It may have taken 30 to 45 minutes to take care of but that is not the fault of the bank. It because of federal regulations on what information is required because of thieves like the Wells Fargo employees and other scam artists trying take your money. They are just doing their job. I have to mention that yes you can get your check cashed for a little cheaper but all banks charge fees for cashing checks if you don't have an account. I have not interacted with the tellers yet but I can't imagine them being rude to anyone. If it's problem why not mention it to the manager instead of behind the words in a review. You might end up with a better relationship.
